I read somewhere that there are 90% sheep and 10% people in Wales... which implies that the population of Wales is made up exclusively of sheep and people!
Anyway in the sparsely populated (by humans) mountains and hills of mid-Wales, which is where I currently live, I'm sure it's at least 200 to 1...
It was really foggy when I drove up to the farm this weekend. I could easily pretend that the grass is all green (go away snow!). Can't wait to see some animals out in the fields too. I want to jump through the picture and go exploring a bit where you are too...
That's a lot of sheep, but they sure do make great photo subjects. I especially like the last one.
ReplyDeleteAt least you have very adorable neighbors!
ReplyDeletegreat shot, looks like a good place to spot critters too
ReplyDeleteI love the little babies - so adorable.
ReplyDeleteA good thing sheep are friendly and not predatory with numbers like that. -smile-

ReplyDeleteIt is so beautiful! A friend and I are thinking about going to Wales this fall. It looks like a lovely place to visit!
ReplyDeleteWe have lots of sheep in the fields where we live - but not as many as last year.
ReplyDeleteLove these photos... particularly the last one with the mother and lambs looking at you...
ReplyDeleteWow, that's pretty interesting...The two in the second photo are darling.
