I'm hosting a Summer Yarn Giveaway :-) The winner will receive their choice of 100g of yarn currently available in The Sock Yarn Shop.


To enter please leave a comment stating your preferred yarn and shade along with a way for me to contact you.

    You have so many gorgeous yarns. Were I the lucky one I'd love some Mini Mochi in the Bodega Bay colourway (the Mini Mochi colours are all so beautiful but right now this one is my favourite).

    Sqqquuuuueeeee!I would LOVE to try some Mini Mouchi as it's totally lush! Complete eye candy to cher me up when I am on my hollibobs.Have a feeling I will be doing more knitting than outdoors activities :)

    My daughter keeps saying I need to make something for myself so what I would like to wear with pride is Opal Van Gogh Starry Night because that was my favorite picture. I used to look at it every trip to the art musuem and then had a poster on my dorm room wall a 1001 years ago.

    I knittted a pair of socks using the Mini Mocha Intense Rainbow....ther were sooo beautiful!!! I gave them to my sister to wear when she has her chemotherapy (lung cancer)as "happy socks" and they certainly were an ice breaker!! She said she could have taken loads of orders for them!!

    However, if I have to choose just one yarn to do another pair...I am torn!!! between another Mini Mocha ..in Caramel Latte, the Crazy Zauberball in Olive Tree....or.....the Opal Room at Arles......

    VERY hard to choose! But I really like the Van Gogh Gaugin's Armchair a) because I studied both artists for my GCSE art coursework and b) because I saw the painting on my honeymoon last year :)
